2000;Deadhorse Therapeutic Academy for the Psychically Inclined has its grand opening in Podunk-nowhere, Arizona. Yes people know the location but they're not permitted within two miles of the town. Government officials and patients (or as they're supposed to be referred to, students) are the only ones allowed on the grounds and only the Government men can come back off the grounds. This Academy is for the all the offspring (who showed signs of unnatural abilities) of the tested on baby-boomers. Yes, that's right. Their kids got the affects. Not them. When the scientists tested, they let the desired affects grow with the DNA. Well that DNA was made into a new person and that new person was automatically born with the special abilities that were supposed to go to their parents.
2009;Deadhorse Therapeutic Academy for the Psychically Inclined (called DTAPI for short) is now fully functional and houses most of, if not all of, the "freak children." It acts as a regular boarding school but its classes deal with the range of powers that have been discovered by the kids that have them. The academy accepts kids starting at fourteen, when they are initiated as a 1st Year Former and complete their schooling at 21 as an 8th Year Former. Once you're done, you get released back into the normal world but always under the watchful eye of the Government.
