A dense fog rolls into London, bringing with it a desolate chill that could make anybodies hair stand on end. There is a storm coming. There isn’t a soul in London that cannot feel it. The magical world is tense. There is a stale static on the airwaves, which filters into the homes and minds of the wizards and witches that inhabit them. The darkness is growing. It isn’t apparent to the public, but the Ministry of Magic is drawn thin. They cannot support a full fledged war with You-Know-Who any longer. Luckily, there hasn’t been an attack in four months. The last attack was suspected to be aimed at Madison Townsley, who some believe escaped her flat, but is still missing.[/center]
The threat that looms on the horizon has tensions running high. Those who believe in conspiracy theories have placed their comfort in the Quibbler, which speaks of a secret society formed out of personal sorrow, trying to repent their sins. It is unfortunate that most wizards and witches do not pay attention to the Quibbler; for once they got something right. There is a secret society, formed out of mistakes, past sorrows and tragic lies. They have a name for themselves, these vigilantes, who save people in order to save themselves. But what are they saving themselves from? Nobody has stopped to ask. There is no time to question.
No matter what everybody does, matters always become worse. This is no different. There have been recent attacks, disappearances that aren’t linked to He-Who-Must-Be-Named. These attacks haven’t been connected by any string of events, but have brought chaos to both sides. There is speculation that there exists a group of rogue Death Eaters. This has gotten the ministries attention and they’re investigating. If they do exist, the magical world is about to change. Has the friction of both sides caused a rip in supporters? If so, what does this mean about the future of the magical world? These mysteries should unravel soon with the coming of the storm. Is this the beginning of the end?
